Q: What is Ignite?
A: Ignite is the local church igh School ministry of the Crossing Church.
Q: What happens at Ignite?
A: Designed to be a safe place for you to come and enjoy the very best worship services and Life changing messages on Sundays, and small group discussions and bible studies on Wednesdays. It’s a church for 9th - 12th grades.
Q: What is The Underground?
A: The Underground is the name of our weekly event for 9th - 12th grades.
Q: What happens at The Underground?
A: I'm glad you asked because every week is different. Some weeks we may have a game (ex. slam dunk contest, sumo wrestling competition) or a guest speaker, along with rockin' worship, dramas, and topics that are relevent to where you are right now.
Q: What is The Venue?
A: The Venue is the local church youth center of the Crossing Church.
Q: What happens at The Venue?
A: Designed to be a safe place for you to come and hang out with your friends - and meet some new ones - The Venue features a video game station, ping-pong, basketball, and a snack bar to satisfy your hunger.
Q: What goes on on Wednesdays?
A: Each Wednesday night The Venue opens the doors at 6:00 p.m. for game room and hang-out time. The Venue closes during all services. Ignite service time starts at 7:00 p.m. and lasts until 8:00 p.m. The Venue game room opens again from 8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. The Venue closes at 8:30 p.m.
Q: What happens on Sundays?
A: Each Sunday The Venue opens the doors at 10:00 a.m. Starting at 10:15 a.m. our Sunday morning descipleship program called "ReWire" begins. Students are dismissed at 11:00am to the main auditorium for The Crossing's main service. The Underground is our big event of the week and is held at 4:30pm on Sunday nights.
Q: What goes on during the week?
A: During School:
Wednesdays The Venue opens the doors from 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. followed by our Wednesday night small groups.
During the Summer:
Tuesday through Thursday The Venue opens the doors from 12:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m.
Q: Can I show up late to The Underground or leave early?
A: The Underground is the most important part of your Ignite experience so we ask that you show up on time and plan on staying until the event is over.
Q: How old is "too old" and how young is "too young?"
A: Ignite is a place created specifically for Students from 9th to 12th grades. If you are not yet in 9th grade, sorry you'll have to wait. But don't worry; we're not going anywhere, and we are only gonna get better. So relax, we will see you soon! If you're 19, or out of High School, the time has come for us to part ways. Unless, of course, you are a member of LIT our college ministry and you want to help us serve our students each week. If that's the case stop by our offices and we'll point you in the right direction.
Q: Can parents come?
A: We have designed Ignite to be a place specifically for students, but we want parents to feel welcome to see what their kids are enjoying. We have created an open door policy for parents and you may see some of them wandering around from time to time. So, you had better be on your best behavior just in case the next ones you see are yours!
Q: Do I need to bring money?
A: The only thing that costs money at Ignite is the food. All of the video games, basketball and everything else is free. So if your stomach is talking to you, bring a little bit of money so you can talk back. Otherwise, relax it's on the house.

Q: How do I get to Ignite?
A: We are located in The Woodlands, TX North of Houston and South of Conroe.
From Conroe:
If you're coming from Conroe take I-45 South to Research Forest Drive. Go right on Research Forest Drive until you get to Shadowbend Place. Turn left on Shadowbend Place and we’ll be on your right at The Crossing Church
From Spring/Houston:
If you're coming from Spring/Houston take I-45 North to Research Forest Drive. Go left under I-45 on Research Forest Drive until you get to Shadowbend Place. Turn left on Shadowbend Place and we’ll be on your right at The Crossing Church |
